During my stay at Hanoi Eastern Gate Hostel & Spa, I appreciated the friendly staff and the comfortable mattress in my dorm. However, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with some areas appearing quite neglected. The location near the railway was exciting but also quite noisy, which disrupted my sleep.

The modern facilities exceeded my expectations and the location was perfect, just steps away from the railway and the hustle of Pho Co area. However, the dorm room was quite smelly and hot at night, which made it uncomfortable. I had a pretty solid time at Hanoi Eastern Gate Hostel & Spa. The location is awesome, right near the Old Quarter, which made getting around a breeze.
